Oh, little girls…so tiny and wonderful; you have so much to look forward to.
One day you will ride a bike and learn to write your name and have sleepovers and argue over toys.
And then, clothes.
And then makeup.
One day you will have your first crush and your first heartbreak and then will come the day that you both go out into the world, strengthened by the love of your family and the bond of sisterhood.
But that day is far off.
For now, sleep little ones and let your world be filled with mama’s milk and soft blankets and dreams that only babies know.
