Couples’ Photography

It all starts with two people.

You meet. You smile. You flirt. You work up the courage for a first date. And then another and another and another.  You fall in love. You have adventures. You commit to one another. Maybe children are added, children who grow and have children of their own. More years pass. Silver strands sparkle in the hair you have left. The hand holding yours looks a little different than it did years ago.

And you look back on the life lived and realize that through all the changes and seasons, one thing has remained the same…

It all started with two people.

THAT, my friend, is worthy of a picture.

But so many times, it goes untaken.

See, a lot of photography we don’t even think twice about; it’s a given: wedding photography, children’s photography, family photography, senior photography…

But when it comes to Couples’ Photography, well, it’s not always a priority. So if you have someone you love and you’re looking for some excuses to have a photograph taken together, we’ve got ‘em right here:

  1. A celebration of finding each other. Yeah, it might sound a little cheesy, but when out of all the people in the world, and we’re talking almost 8,000,000,000 people, you find the person who was meant for you-that’s like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. It’s a one in eight billion chance, and yet, you found each other.

2.   A celebration of a place. You two have a favorite spot; it could be anywhere: a cafe on the corner, a strand of beach, a rooftop bar, watching the sunset from, well, anywhere. Your favorite spot holds a special place in your heart, especially when it’s shared by someone you love.

3.  A celebration of being together, aka-an anniversary. And when we say “anniversary” we’re not talking just about a wedding anniversary, although they certainly qualify. Heck, an anniversary can be anything: the day you met, your first date, your first kiss, the day you first said “I love you…” the list goes on and on. If you remember it and hold it dear, it’s an anniversary.

4. A celebration of an accomplishment. Did you set out to conquer something together? Did you start a business or build a house or lose weight together? Whatever that thing is that caused you to high-five one another because “you did it,” well, that thing deserves to be remembered.

Yes, the reasons to get a photograph with the person you love are as different as couples themselves which is part of the beauty of the couples’ photography genre.

And did we mention it’s FUN?

So, grab the person you love, call Frank Frost Photography, and we’ll take that love and make sure it’s celebrated.

Because “two” is a really great number.
