Don’t Go!

We knew the day was coming-we just didn’t think it would come so fast. Our own lovely Elizabeth will be leaving us to start her Student Teaching and we have but one week left before she goes.

Elizabeth is one of those rare personalities that wraps you in warmth the moment you meet her. She is full of life and joy and has one of the world’s kindest hearts. We have been blessed to have her as part of our family, if only for a little while. We have no doubt that she will excel in teaching (and have a lot of little boys following her around the classroom! 🙂

Liz, we love you and will miss you so much!

Miss Emery Kate

There is something incredibly moving about watching a tiny baby, so fresh from God.
Shawn, Brooke and their little boy, Saxon, have been clients for several years. They scheduled a session when Miss Emery Kate arrived for some wonderful Mommy and Me/Daddy and Me portraits. Towards the end of the session, Emery got a little sleepy (this modeling stuff is hard work, you know)

Even asleep, she’s beautiful!

The Blog Pledge

tsk…tsk…tsk…just look how long it’s been since I’ve written. I’m such a bad girl.

(holding three fingers of right hand up in a Girl Scout Promise)
I pledge to write here everyday
And not let work get in my way
And should I tire and need a break
A cup of Starbucks, and I’m AWAKE.

John, Kristina & Co.

Frank and I love being parents. Love it, love it, love it. Being an aunt and uncle takes a close second, especially when we’re fortunate to have such amazing nephews and niece. I mean, just as cute as they come.

Frank’s brother, John, and his family were in town recently. John and his lovely wife, Kristina, own Sonicpool, a post-production company in Hollywood. ( and are blessed with two of the most adorable children: Charly and Sutton. I wish I could have bottled up their visit to share with you, but these pictures will have to do.

Are we a lucky aunt and uncle, or what?

Your Photos Deserve a Silver Lining

I love beautiful jewelry, almost as much as photography. Over the years, we’ve seen numerous companies try to combine the two and the results have been less than spectacular. Either the pieces were too “homemade” looking, or the material used was nothing more than a base metal, which began to wear within the first week. I had pretty much given up on ever finding exactly what I was looking for, until we went to Vegas.

We found a jewelry manufacturer who not only uses Sterling Silver in their creations, but actually seals the photos within the piece, making it waterproof! These are incredible pieces, crafted with amazing attention to detail. We will be offering:

Money clips
Cell Phone Charms
Men’s Leather bracelets
Belt Buckles and much more!
Each piece is custom and can be designed with any number of images. We should be receiving our samples within the next couple of weeks, so make sure to take a look the next time you’re in the studio. You’re gonna love these!
