Felicia’s First Holy Communion

People celebrate milestones in their lives with pictures: graduations, weddings, pregnancies, new babies, new families, and in Felicia’s case, her First Holy Communion.

These were too beautiful not to share…

Downtown Senior Photos

Years ago, a lovely couple, Mark and Patty, happened through our doors with two adorable little girls. Over the years, we’ve watched these little girls grow into beautiful young women. In fact, Patty and I will get a little misty-eyed when talking about the heart-wrenching road from childhood to adulthood. We had the privilege of photographing the last of the senior pictures and we took them downtown.

She’s a beautiful girl and we’re blessed to have watched her grow up

Ryan

Graduation is right around the corner, especially for Ryan. Ryan is the youngest of his siblings and the last to graduate. His parents came into the studio today to pick up some last minute wallets for graduation announcements and just thinking what it must feel like to watch your youngest child, your baby, walk down the aisle and receive a diploma had me blinking back the tears. Raising a baby, you feel as though you will never sleep again. Then comes Elementary school years, and you become immersed in activities and events. High school rolls around, with cars and boyfriends and girlfriends and, again, that lack of sleep, albeit for a different reason.

And then, one day, you sit in an audience and watch with bittersweet tears your little boy or girl take the great leap into adulthood, a diploma in one hand and the future in the other.

You know, they say that to have children is to forever have your heart go walking around outside your body.
They were right.

A Good Marriage

All this time, I thought a good marriage had to do with love, and trust, and honesty…I had NO idea all I had to do was make a decent cup of coffee…

Yeah, he might have been harsh, but so was her coffee.

Did You Know?

You might think you know Frank Frost well.

You might know, for instance, that he is a neat freak; a perfectionist down to the tiniest detail.
You might know that he hates tomatoes, loves Conway Twitty and has a secret love for his dogs, despite his proclaiming otherwise.
You might know that his laugh can be heard in the next county.
But what you might not know about Frank Frost is something very special. Frank is one of a very small band of photographic experts who hold an outstanding number of degrees through the world’s foremost photography associations. In fact, he and several others were the very first ever to receive the highest degree available from WPPI in a ceremony several years ago. When it comes to photographic degrees, Frank has achieved just about all there is.

Professional Photographers of America (PPA)
**Master of Photography
**Photographic Craftsman
**Certified Professional Photographer

Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI)
**Accolade of Photographic Mastery
**Accolade of Outstanding Photographic Achievement
**Accolade of Exceptional Photographic Achievement
**Accolade of Highest Photographic Achievement
**Accolade of Lifetime Photographic Excellence

In addition to this list, Frank’s work has appeared in numerous books, the latest of which graces the cover of Techniques from the Masters, written by Lou Jacobs, a fabulous writer and photographer. An entire chapter is devoted to Frank- his images and perspective.

Why bother to bring all of this up? Well, all these accolades are simply a by-product of a constant drive to be better, do better and photograph better. Not for the titles, but for you, our clients. As Frank says, “All these degrees are great, but nothing means more to me than when a client looks at their photos and says, “Frank, I love ’em!”

Now, if I could just get him to eat tomatoes.
