Blue Doors and Smiles: albuquerque senior photography

If you live in New Mexico, a blue door against a brown adobe building is a familiar sight. There are many ideas as to why this is popular here-some say it arrived with the Spanish as a means to ward off evil spirits and/or to bring good luck; others say it is a tribute to the sky. Whatever the reason, a blue door is simply New Mexico and that’s good enough for me!
