BLACKOUT THEATRE COMPANY

I’m sure it comes as no surprise to anyone when I say I LOVE the Arts. To make something from nothing is an amazing thing and I think all artists share a love of the world around them. Nowhere is this truer than with Improv, and nobody does it better than Blackout Theatre Company. Blackout consists of an 11 member team of incredibly talented individuals who make you laugh so hard, soda comes out of your nose.

From their website:
Blackout is a theatre company founded in 2007 with the goal of creating new and original works, as well as pushing the boundaries of published works. Working as an ensemble, the company will primarily use comedy to explore different facets of theatre and the performing arts. Blackout also seeks to foster an environment of artistic exploration in the community at large via outreach and collaborative efforts.

I had the great fortune to photograph Blackout recently, as they needed their publicity shots updated. We shot for a little over two hours and I came home with over 10GB of images. I’m actually STILL going through their shoot, readying the images for delivery, but wanted to give you a sneak peek.

Blackout Theatre Company…if you miss a Blackout production, you’ve missed something great. Trust me on this.
